Making a Donation to The Shannon Trust

We are entirely funded by voluntary donation. And we currently have no fundraising department! So any contribution that you can make will be hugely appreciated.

Our overheads are covered at the moment by our major sponsors listed on our home page. So your donation will go directly towards the materials inmates need, to learn to read on our scheme. That is the ToeByToe Manual we use, a dictionary we send them at the half-way point of the course and a few motivational items (like a wristband, t-shirts for our mentors and certificates for those that graduate from the course).

Our cost, per inmate that learns to read is roughly £25.
